Joe Walker - Director of Photography

I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, and have lived here all of my life, but don't let that fool you. I've traveled all over the U.S. and throughout the world.

I've pretty much shot on every format you can imagine in just about every aspect ratio you've ever seen; well except for 65mm, but I'm keeping the hope alive!

Although I've never attended film school, I believe I've more than made up for that with raw experience. I've "lensed" short films, music videos, commercials, and a few features. My work has been seen on major cable outlets and at a few festivals.

Whether it's figuring out how to fly a Steadicam down a staircase, frame an FX shot on a chroma-key screen, or simply hit just the right angle in a heavy dialogue scene, I've always got an idea or two of how to make it happen. And having worked with directors of all personalities and backgrounds, I think you'll find me pretty easy to get along with.
